Its surprisingly good. Shane West (or Shane Wreck, whatever) is actually a good replacement. If you saw the movie, he did a decent job of getting into Darby's head.

I got to talk to him before they played and asked him how he went from playing Darby to joining the band and he was pretty fucking humble about it. He realizes that he's a weird choice but gives it his all and actually pulls it off.

The Germs are one of my all-time favorites. Very albums beat out (GI).

But the last time I saw them (at Blender Theatre in NYC after the showed the movie) - they were freakin' AWFUL.....they didn't give a shit. It was kinda like probably how they were like back in "the day"....except this time around, there was no excuse.

awful as in the band played well together and only a quarter of the lyrics were sung and few to none in time or into the mic (that's how they seemed back in the day through all the videos i've seen), or they just were not good in any sense?

Well, did you expect any less? The band always acted like they hated everyone who bothered to come out to see them, so it's no shocker that they played terribly and then went and partied with your money.

It's like going to see GG Allin and then being surprised when you eat a shit sandwich.

I gave up on that Germs movie about 20 minutes in. It made me hate everyone involved that much more. I used to really be about the LP and the Lexicon Devil EP but not being 16 anymore has really diminished what value I get out of them. Hell, I may be hocking them on ebay soon.

$4.25 a DVD but if you rent two you get a third free, so it usually works out to about $2.83 a rental if you get 3.

i was in there once. too many foreign films for me. i like my movies like i like my women low brow, made in the 80s, under 90 minutes long, and retarded as hell (well maybe that's a bad anaolgy). you should come check out this show if you're not busy on Sunday.

i would say wes who, but i don't know any weses. CCAS is an alright place except it gets crazy hot in the summer. i like playing sidebar the most, but for some reason we end up at the brass monkey a lot. go figure.

the Krum Bums are one of THE BEST live bands around right now. Im not huge on their records, but I saw them in a living room last summer and they blew me away.
