Tours: Russian Circles

Russian Circles have announced a few more tour dates following their appearance at Bonnaroo, all of which will feature support from Coliseum. The band is currently recording a new full-length at Electrical Audio Studios in Chicago, with Brandon Curtis of Secret Machines producing. The band last released Station in 2008.

pretty good. Isis / Pelican kinda stuff. if you're into slow/mid tempo heavy stuff i would say check em

Their newest is probably their best. I'm not a huge fan of them though. They don't grab me like Pelican. I'd check out 5ive (not the boy band) and Capricorns first.

They're fucking awesome, I was JUST listening to them on my ride home from work. They sound kinda like something an old screamo band would play, but without any vocals and not as extreme dynamics.

their last two albums have been pretty awesome, albeit a little samey. but the great bits are REALLY great. i'm pretty confident the new stuff is gonna be impressive. they've been touring with These Arms are Snakes a lot, so hopefully some of that aggressive experimental streak has rubbed off on RC.
