Halo of Snakes, who feature Rich Hoak (Brutal Truth), Brandon Wallace (ex-Champion / I Hate You), Matt Smith (ex-Hot Cross / Off Minor), Joey Angel (Hey Angel, Belegost) and engineer Dan O'Hare, have announced plans to record a debut demo in early June.
The band has been described as both "a gloriously ill-tempered mess" and "Bad Brains and Black Flag meets Black Sabbath and Rocket from the Crypt... but with that Philadelphia twist of course." They'll play what seems to be their first show at Marvelous Music in west Philadelphia on May 27th. News (17 comments)

That's an awesome line-up. Should be noisy and fast, should be awesome.

Usually, bad ass bands like these can spawn pretty awesome shit, so hopefully this should continue the trend
