Vinyl Vlog talks to Joey Cape, Jon Snodgrass

Vinyl Vlog have posted their 11th episode, this one featuring Joey Cape (Lagwagon, Bad Astronaut) and Jon Snodgrass (Drag the River, Armchair Martian)

The interview also features a contest to give away a split featuring both musicians and confirms the show's first event, June 22nd 9pm at the Plough and Star in Cambridge. MA.

I don't like Lagwagon. I don't understand why google ads seems to think that they should be lumped into my ads with Alkaline Trio and Jawbreaker.

That said, I really like Cape's solo output, and Bad Astronaut was awesome.

That last EP they put out was decent, I guess. But all there songs just bleed together for me.

Lagwagon is good for what they are, they were always one of the better epifat era bands.

Alkaline Trio always bored the hell out of me, even after seeing them. I don't understand the amount of adulation they seem to receive but I guess they're just a band I don't get. I do enjoy the HWM covers though

Thanks Vinyl Vlog for interviewing Joey and Jon. I highly recommend checking out Video Vlog; they might be the most productive bunch of drunks next to Suburban Home.
