Tours: Squirtgun announces US-European Summer Tour

Squirtgun has announced their first US tour since 2003 and their first European tour since 2004 on their website. According to their MySpace page, these will be their first shows in continental Europe since 1998, as their 2004 tour was made up of UK-only dates.

Why is there no love for this band? Is it because they did the awesome opening credit music for Mallrats?

When i first got into poppunk four years ago, they were my favorite popunk band.
So, there is some love.

But of course, times change and music tastes change, and fade to bright wasnt great.

I actually enjoyed that album. Not a lot of people do, which confuses the crap out of me.

Pop punk and skate punk does get old when people get older, but there are some bands that surprisingly stick around forever.

Only bad pop punk gets old. I've spent all morning listening to the
Descendants and The Ergs!

Skate punk on the other hand doesn't hold up as well.

This is very very true. The last time I was able to spin a Pennywise CD in its entirety was four years ago. Only skate punk left I can listen to is Lagwagon, Pulley, Ten Foot Pole, and some NOFX.

6. Jersey Girl.... yeah I watched it.... and it was rather mediocre

Zack and Miri Make A Porno was very funny. I enjoyed it was more than I thought I would. The use of "Hey" might also sway my opinion a bit. The idiots sitting in front of me were having a discussion about who the song was by and they came to the conclusion it was the Rolling Stones. Really?

I like your order, but Clerks 2 would come right behind Jay and Silent Bob there. Otherwise, no complaints.

I can't put Clerks 2 down that low because it's Clerks, and it came at a point in my life involving what I was doing with it.... just like the first one.

You know, I like all of Kevin Smith's movies (well, haven't seen Jersey Girl) but I just could never get into Clerks. Fucked, huh? Dante annoys the living hell out of me.

Dante is one of my movie heroes. I can see how one doesn't like Clerks for many many reasons. I'm sure you're not alone. But have you ever worked in places like that or at least retail?

I really liked Another Sunny Afternoon when it came out on Lookout! all those years ago. Lots of fun songs on there. But I just went to their MySpace page and that cover of Classics of Love is just cringeworthy.

What is this bullshit, this band promised us they would break up and QUIT already. There's no more names left to drop. "Guest vocals from Kris Roe", "Mastered by the guy that talked to Tim Armstrong about cars once", etc.

Always hated this band. I wanted to like them because of Mass, but the singer is just awful. And what kind of US "tour" is 3 shows? Weak.
