Arts and Crafts artist Jason Collett will support the Weakerthans on their upcoming US west coast tour. Jason will be performing solo at the shows and previewing a number of songs from his upcoming full length. The Toronto based musician released Here's to Being Here in 2008 to much critical acclaim.
Prior to the US tour Collett will play the a trio of special shows in his hometown. Wednesday the 10th he'll be part of "The Canadian Songbook: A Tribute to Neil Young's Live at Massey Hall," which is part of the Luminato Festival. On the 17th he'll play an Arts & Crafts NXNE showcase with Apostle Of Hustle, The Happiness Project and Years. A CBC Radio showcase follows on the 20th at the Horseshoe Tavern. The Weakerthans dates kick off on July 18th in Seattle.
