The Brass (ex-Latterman, On The Might of Princes) annnounce new 7", tour dates

Brooklyn, NY's The Brass have announced the release of their upcoming 7". Homosapien is due out in mid-June on Dead Broke Rekerds. The band features members of On The Might Of Princes and Latterman. Check out a song from the 7", "Pubis Mons", at the band's myspace page.

The band also has a brief East Coast tour coming up next month.

Also, just because a band breaks up, that means the members have to stop making music?

Agreed. I like their older records quite a bit. This just seems tired and hokey and like the motions are just being gone through. Their commentary was also as cliche as punk gets.

I just really don't understand what happened to Tim Armstrong. I always saw Lars as kind of a douche, but I used to have respect for Tim. The Transplants and Indestructible were like a one-two punch to the gut. This isn't much better.

I had a 3 hour long drunken debate with a Nazi skin outside the bar the other night after a Teenage Bottlerocket show. Some people just don't have a fucking clue. It's a miracle it didn't end with some sort of violence. I think he really wanted to punch me after he asked what black people have ever contributed to this world and I yelled "George Washington Carver invented peanut butter motherfucker!" I later read that while Carver did extensive work with peanuts and peanut crops, he did not invent peanut butter. Anyway, my new friend with the swastika cell phone wallpaper didn't know the fucking difference.
