The Gateway District (Soviettes, Banner Pilot, OWTH) announce debut

The Gateway District, which includes members of The Soviettes, American Monsters, Banner Pilot, Off with Their Heads and Rivethead, have announced their debut on It's Alive Records.

The record is titled Some Days You Get The Thunder and is due out June 30, 2009. Check out some music on their myspace page.

Seeing this band along with Banner Pilot tomorrow. Should be a good time. I don't have the right version of flash here at work to listen to their songs. Will check it out when I get home.

Your band sounds like a band I used to listen to about 4 or 5 years ago but I can't put my finger on who it is exactly. Useless ID? Ten Foot Pole? Idk. I enjoyed it though.

Thanks a lot. None of us ever really got into those bands. If I had to draw a comparison I would say Swingin Utters but played twice as fast with less folk.
