Tours: The Get Up Kids (Germany)

Visions is reporting on some German tour dates for the reunited Get Up Kids. The band has five German August dates confirmed thus far but no word on whether this will turn into a proper European tour. The only non-German date so far is the band's previously announced Pukkelpop appearance.

...so I'm just going to assume it's a Lord of the Rings themed wedding without asking him.

Curious, did you like Clerks 2? I thought it lacked the wit of the original. I also thought it was silly and stupid like Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back as opposed to the more reserved humor of Chasing Amy.

It just seemed like a teenager trying to write a movie with adult themes, knowing full well Kevin Smith can.

I like Clerks, but Kevin Smith is pretty terrible. When I was in school every fat ass addicted to Dr. Pepper wanted to imitate him. Waste of film.

Yeah man, I hear you. I saw Clerks when it came out in the theater, there was no 'hype' around him and I fell in love with the movie. I also enjoy Mallrats and Chasing Amy. After that, he kind of bought into the bullshit that everybody should constantly funnel sunshine into his open rectum.

I don't know if you know Land of the Lost, but the fact that Will Farrell's name in that movie was Marshall Willenholly is fucking hilarious.

I loved it, but you are right about the comparison to Jay and Bob. It has much more in common w/ that movie than the original Clerks.

I liked Mallrats the best.

I really did, but i'm a total Smith fanboy.

I just really dug the whole Randal/ Dante bromance throughout the whole thing. A lot of the humor was indeed more like Jay and Silent Bob, but i like that kind of stuff.

I don't see it. Crash, Before These Crowded Streets, and the two live acoustic albums with Tim Reynolds are all stellar. The others blow hard though.

I love how at any karoke night, there's the group of girls that get up to sing Livin' on a Prayer, realize they don't know the words, mumble through the verses and then scream a horrific out-of-key chorus.

Those girls are always the easy ones.

That movie was kinda disappointing. I mean it was alright, but I love weed and used to love Seth Rogen, so I was expecting much, much better. Franco was great though.
