The Used: “Burning Down The House (Talking Heads)”

The Used have posted their cover of the Talking Heads classic, "Burning Down The House." The song comes from the recently released covers compilation, Covers: A Revolution in Sound which also includes Mastodon, Against Me!, Avenged Sevenfold, Flaming Lips and Taking Back Sunday covering notable Warner Music Group tracks.

Warner Bros. may as well just turn this into Twilight 2 soundtrack, instead of a covers album... it fits better.

If I was in Against Me! or The Flaming Lips, I would really make a stink about my music being on the same disk with Avenged Sevenfold, but I am sure it is out of their power

I hate to say it, but it isn't THAT bad. I mean it's not good either but it aint easy covering the Talking Heads.

That said, let's hope this is the only emo band to cover the Heads. No one wants to hear a Thrice cover of Psycho Killer.
