Sissy Havoc (pre-Frenetics) announce show

Sissy Havoc, the Montreal based band that featured singer-songwriter Malcom Bauld prior to his stint with the Frenetics, have announced a single show in Quebec.

The band formed in 1997 and only lasted a year or two, but in their time toured Quebec with bands like Braid and Franklin. Of the original line up the returning members will be Bauld on vocals and guitar with Serge Pelletier (later of instrumental act Pawa Up First) on drums. The band is looking for a bass player to fill the spot of original member Gen Bouchard, with Montreal area shows to follow.

The show is set to take place at 3810 St-Laurent in Montreal on Friday, June 26th.

I fucking HATED the band Franklin, I remember that album on Arena Rock that had a flaming drum or some shit on the cover, terrible...just terrible.

On the other hand, I miss Braid.....fuck.

Dude I loved that band.

For that matter I'm quite happy with the Jai-Alai Savant, which is more or less the continuation of that band's sound. The songwriting's of course a little more mature these days, but it's built on a similar foundation.
