Suburban Home Records has announced the preliminary line-up and for their upcoming 14th Anniversary Celebration. The festivities will take place over the weekend of September 10th through the 13th in the label's hometown of Denver, CO. Label head Virgil Dickerson commented:

Unlike some Anniversaries, this is not just another year. Our entire history at Suburban Home has seen its share of ups and downs. We have suffered through declining CD sales, experienced renewed interest in vinyl, and feel throughout all of this that we have been putting out the best records we have ever released. As other labels have been shutting their doors, we continue to eek by. This anniversary finds us celebrating much like I imagine a terminal patient might celebrate another birthday. Who knows how many years we have left? It's not worth worrying about, instead we are excited to celebrate another beautiful year.

A warm up show will take place on the 10th in either Ft. Collins or Colorado Spring. The first official anniversary show will go down at Kings Tavern on the 11th, followed by a garage sale / flea market on the 12th and another show at the Kings, finally wrapping up with a BBQ and Washers Tournament at Wash Park on the 13th.

Performers confirmed include Joey Cape, Jon Snodgrass, Chad Price, Austin Lucas, Two Cow Garage, Mike Hale, Jr. Juggernaut, The Takers, and The Revenge. Bands still pending but expected to be involved include Look Mexico, Tim Barry, Drag the River, Josh Small, In The Red, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, and Ninja Gun among others.
