North Park Awesome Fast lineup announced

Details about the upcoming North Park Awesome Fast have been announced. The festival will be happening September 4-7 and will be spread out among four different venues in San Diego, CA.

Bands slated to appear at the event include Jon Cougar Concentration Camp, Tenement, The Dukes of Hillsborough, Andrew Jackson Jihad, Audacity, Behind the Wagon, Bitchin Summer, Breaker Breaker One Niner, Bumbklaatt, Cheap Girls, Dan Padilla, Dead To Me, Drunken Boat, For.the.Win., The Gateway District, Git Some, God Equals Genocide, Grabass Charlestons, Japanese Monsters, Killer Dreamer, Love Songs, Madison Bloodbath, New Bruises, Ninja Gun, O Pioneers!!!, Off with Their Heads, Pretty Boy Thorson and the Falling Angels, Ready The Jet, Rest of Us, Re-volts, Robocop 3, Rumspringer, Shang-a-Lang, Shark Pants, Success, Sunny Side, The Anchor, The Arrivals, The Damage Done, The God Damn Doo Wop Band, Thee Makeout Party, The Maxies, This Is My Fist, Tiltwheel, Too Many Daves, Toys That Kill, Turkish Techno, Uh Oh!, Underground Railroad to Candyland, Used Kids, Vacation Bible School, Vena Cava, White Night, and Young Offenders.

Tickets will be going on sale July 11 through the festival's website; the passes are $30 and only 300 will be sold.

different things offend different people. i dont like holocaust band names. my friends started a band called "night of broken glass". i thought that was over the top and did not like it.

Yeah, life is just too short to spend it taking offense to things. I can't think of a single thing that has ever or could ever "offend" me, so I have a hard time understanding the mindset of people who do take offense to things.

This is how I feel, except for a different reason. I don't see any practical reason to be offended by anything. So many different people are offended by so many different things, that if all of those things were banned for being offensive, we'd have absolutely nothing to do.

I can't imagine anything that would offend me either. I don't see how anyone could be offended by anything, or why.

The beach, surfing, snorkeling, The Casbah, the best Mexican food ever, the best weather ever, The Casbah (worth listing twice), The Che Cafe, The club that used to be the Zombie Lounge (place is smaller than my living room, yet they get bands like The Business to play there), Balboa Park, The San Diego Zoo, baseball games downtown (super fucking good times), M-theory record store and the hottest chicks around.

Aside from outrageous rent and home prices, San Diego can't be beat.

you can find all of that plus more in LA except that Dodger Stadium is leagues better than Petco and the San Diego Zoo is obviously the best zoo in the world. LA Zoo isn't bad either.

The traffic in LA is a deal-breaker. I really love LA and I always have a blast when I go there, but I feel like SD almost has a small town vibe in a big city and it at least looks like it has way less polution.

and I prefer the beaches in SD. Snorkeling with the Leapard sharks by the reef at La Jolla shores was one of my favorite things ever.

and the Casbah smokes any club i've been to in LA... and I've think I've been to most of 'em.
