Tours: Youth Brigade / Off With Their Heads

Youth Brigade have announced some September dates to be supported by Off With Their Heads. The full-length documentary Let Them Know: The Story of Youth Brigade and BYO Records will screen in select cities in conjunction with these tour dates.

No, its a bit of a misnomer, but I saw them a few weeks ago, and they still have great energy. Unlike a lot of old punk bands they don't look silly still playing.

I actually saw them at Younge and Dundas because I needed pics for an article I am writing, and I figured I could get better ones there.

I was at that Bridge and Tunnel show, but stupidly left after O Pioneers!.

Yeah, I figured they would. I left to go to that surprise Broken Social Scene show at the Courthouse. I don't really like that band at all, but again, I was working on an article about the festival, and figured it would be good for it. Turns out, they did not play the second night anyway, and The Stills were on instead. Even though I don't mind the Stills, I was irritated that I left a good show for that.

Younge and Dundas was strange. There were a bunch of old punks there with their toddlers. Strange.

I don't recall seeing you, but then again, I wasn't really looking. I stick out like a sore thumb though seeing as I am 6'4 and was wearing a bright red snap shirt. The org should provide a symbol we can flash at shows to put faces to handles.

I may, I'll figure it out as it gets closer. I went to Europa to see Gaslight once and just made a day trip out of it, taking bolt bus up there and the 3am Amtrak back to dc, whole thing only costs $90
