I've seen them 3 times now, and every time they've got better. Also, I was confused as to why VDFA didn't end up on the album, that song slays. Also, apparently they recorded Cloak the Dagger but for obvious reasons it didn't work out too well outside of a live setting.

But I think this implies they are planning to get rid of either Lamar Odom or Trevor Ariza or maybe even both. There's no way they could have 3 starting small forwards.

Oh well, we're recording 5-6 songs with the dude who did some mixing on New Lexixon/midnight in america and recorded trapped under ice's latest split and just did something with frodus. We'll be releasing it our selves. It sounds like a mix between lifetime/hot water music instrumentally but with a guy yelling over it. hardcore.

The guy who does scientistrock's webcomic is doing our art. expect all this around fall.

Sure it might seem that simple when you break it down, but what more does PBC do? I'm not denying their awesomeness, obviously I had them on the list. But how can you, being a connoisseur of music i general, tell me that there's nothing special about that band? It's all subjective either way.

PBC does some things with chords that blow any fucking lead AWS has every played; they experiment with time signatures in such subtle ways and are much more dynamic and blend different genres.

I LOVE a willhelm scream. but i pbc is one of my all time favorite bands. i don't find what aws does all that spectacular.

PBC is very dynamic, and I really like that about them. I don't find their actual riffage to be anything other than good, but I do know what you're talking about with the chords they choose. They can just write a good song. Also, their lyrics are a little better than Wilhelms.

The Scream however just has way more balls. It's not going to change your opinion, and that's not my goal here, they just fucking rip. 'Nuff said.

It's the primate inside of me who likes things just a little faster and a little heavier.

Awesome. The first two bands were way better than I figured, Middle East openers can be hit or miss. Kiss Kiss pissed me off by taking about a half an hour to set up because I was already cutting it kinda close with the Bus here. They were alright though. Fake Problems fucking killed it. They Played Astronaut into Crest on the Chest as their encore, so one more thing on the list of things I have to see before I can die happy is checked off.

Just wanted to add: and this is not some kind of fake "I feel your pain" sympathy on my part. I haven't been able to do anything, let alone work, for 4 months since I fractured two vertebrae in a car crash

try paying for an MRI to determine if you have a muscle tear that requires surgery on no income. Its out-of-sight expensive. "Luckily" for me its just a really bad case of tendonitis and a severe contusion/possible fracture. So in a couple months I should be able to use my right arm again..
