John Nolan of Straylight Run and formerly of Taking Back Sunday has signed to Doghouse Records. John will release his debut, Height, on October 27, 2009.

Living in New York for for 3 years, I have to say the pizza here is overrated. It's good, yes, but people make it out to be the best in the world. I'll take deep dish in Chicago.

I've never eaten there. Looks good, better than the kind sitting under heat lamps all day that they warm up for you. Lombardi's is also good, but if you have it delivered it gets soggy.

Best pizza in NYC?

The sicilian square from L & B Spumoni Gardens. Absolutely nothing compares. Di Fara's is good too, just very overrated.

regardless, i just don't like thick crust. how is "real" chicago deep dish different from uno's? i'm just against the idea of having to eat pizza with a knife and fork. that shit is wack.

i think the worst pizza around is domino's. that shit is TERRIBLE. even drunk, you know that shit is terrible when you're stuffing your face with it.

It's very different. I went into an UNO's thinking it'd be nice to get some Chicago Pizza, half of it was bread. Chicago Deep Dish is built kinda like Pumpkin Pie. The crust is thin and inside there are layers of cheese and toppings. You'd be better off eating it with a knife and fork. Man, it tastes damn good.

so last week i had an 'internet date' and it went kind of poorly. she seemed like a fairly nice girl but i just wasnt attracted to her at all. but whatever, no big deal, we just went to chipotle and ate tacos for lunch. she even insisted we go dutch. so no big loss.

then i got back to my desk and got this email from her (keep in mind, we only went on ONE date)

"i have one question before this goes any further (if it were).... are you into anything i should know about, i.e. bondage, domination?"

WTF dude? WTF.

anyway i just opened myself up for insults and hilarity. so have fun.

c) She has had some boyfriends in the past that developed such weird tendencies during the relationship and all of a sudden she found herself doing things she never thought she'd do.

The fact that she's open to internet dating is what makes me sure that's what happened. She's a bit naive (because she thinks anyone would tell the truth), but she simply feels like she connected with you and want to "make sure" (in a completly uneffective way) that you're a good guy, possibly because she called her friends and they just responded with "remember what happened last time.." or something.
