Suburban Home celebrates 14 years with Joey Cape, Look Mexico, Mike Hale

The nice folks at Suburban Home Records have confirmed the lineup for their 14th anniversary show.

The two day event will take place at 3 Kings Tavern in Denver, CO and will feature Joey Cape, Jon Snodgrass, Austin Lucas, Josh Small, Jr. Juggernaut, In The Red, Look Mexico, Tim Barry, Two Cow Garage, Chad Price, Ninja Gun, Mike Hale and The Takers.

My dog loves Soda. She bites the can, places it in her drinking bowl, takes a nap, slurps it up and hides away the can.

She did this about 25 times over a year before I realized what was going on. She's hilarious.

But yeah, a cat eating a hot dog bun is a total nom nom nom moment.

I am getting seriously anxious about the whole thing. It is going to be a 1 in a 100 shot for this to play out the way I and other vikings fans are hoping. I honestly think he is going to decide to play, and then get hurt in the first four games. Just averages/football gods man, it's feels inevitable to me. Then we'll be right back where we were with TarJack and JewBoy. But if that's where we were gonna be anyway might as well give it a shot. Also I hope Percy turns out to be as good as I hope he could be. It's like having Reggie Bush in an offense that already has LT or something.

I loled and "JewBoy." And I dont see Percy really having that big of an impact on the team his rookie year, ecspecially if Farve does not play..
But on that whole Farve situation, I dont think he's going to play. I mean, if you have to have Peterson and Allen calling him because they heard that he was thinking about not playing its not a good sign. And if he does come to play I think it will be out of guilt for leading the entire team to believe he was going to play.

I also believe it is not a good sign, and rather disappointing, but I'd take a shot with a lethargic favre, (say we get on a roll, you gotta get him that high of winning but once you do...watch out )over no shot and just going with who we got (and I actually like Tarvaris more than most).

Percy is a ridiculous athelete. I think people will come to regret the hate.

I think a good deal of it comes down to age. I used to love millencolin and other punk bands with their quick ass drum beats and angst, but really, if you pull up to a guy in a car blasting that who looks well over 30...aren't you gonna be kinda like..."oooookay guy" whereas if he's blasting anything with a slight country twang, you'll be like...'sounds just about right." I don't know what my point is, but, ya know?

I know what you mean, but disagree with the bands you chose (well PBC I understand pretty well). I have the exact same thing for Thrice... they just seem really forced-serious.

Dude! yes! the entire point of Pop (short for POPULAR) punk is to be catchy and yeah hella none of it is except for maybe 1 song here and there. The Parasites, and to a lesser extent Methadones and Leftovers seem to be the only ones who get that.

Well the singer and some other member(s) of The State Lottery had a band called The Gibbons, so naturally they sound like them.

I often get TSL mixed up with Two Cow Garage, even though when I really think about it they aren't that similar, but you might like them.

Same. I think a lot of the problem is that I'd only ever review albums I really like, and have trouble finding the balance between objective and subjective (I truly think you need both in a review) and I score albums higher than anyone else, I disagree with the "3/5 being good" thing. I mean if I was already a reviewer and had random albums sent to me I'd have an easier time, because they'd usually be mediocre if odds have any say in it.
