no, but i dropped a whole buncha loot. more than a benjamin. not good.

Never tried Talisker, but GlennFiddich is good. About 20 bucks a bottle. Having one right here doesn't help my decision to give it up for a while

yeah, my roommate got me a bottle of glennfidditch for my birthday. it's good, but a little too sweet.

Talisker, no shit, tastes like bacon. bacon soaked in alcohol. then chopped up, filtered, and reduced back to alcohol. it's awesome.

What about Laphroig? That shit's like $40 and soooo fucking good - if you like the peaty taste.

am i the only one upset about the fact that they got rid of that lead guitar line for the album version of "threat level midnight?"

i think that's one of the reasons why i didn't like the album as much as "so long the lighthouse." still a great album, but meh. how could they get rid of those guitars....

I haven't listened to that EP in a while, I'll check it out. I lost my CD copy and I don't quote unquote is back up...so I have to spin the vinyl. Which is rad, but more cumbersome.

well they switched guitarists, new guy wanted to do his own thing i suppose...

also they signed to p&p, it was never officially announced but vinnie said something about it online

Thanks for your recommendations so far the blog is just what I'm looking for it makes a interesting read.

I'm kinda trying to find more bands that are softer like Attack In Black, Weakerthans vibe.
Some good old 'Orgcore recommendations wouldn't go a miss either

Yeah. Pretty psyched to have that. I think it's way better than the full-length. Hopefully Chasing Hamburg will be more like The Redder, the Better.

I do, I guess, depending on who we're talking about. I like "Find Me a Drink Home."

I have a feeling it's the latter.

It's easily the former.

The vocals are one of the main reasons I love them

that guy's enunciation suuuuccks. i bet most people who like shook ones hate heavy bands who's vocalist you can't understand, yet they give stuff like shook ones a pass.

shook ones rule, and the new album is amazing

but dude is definitely unintelligible...i know how all the vocal melodies go and very few lyrics

I meant that a "digital sampler" is in no way, shape or form in line with what they're doing with P+P. Digital samples has been a mainstay for 5+ years now and P+P is supposed to be the old school combined with new technology. I might not enjoy the actual artists on this label but I like their ethic and that they focus on the artwork and the record being more than just a plastic disc.

Coffee Project is Rehasher and LTJ which I believe > AJJ.

that's not really a good way to describe them since it's Rehasher's drummer and LTJ's trombone player. they are in those bands but still
