Tours: Brand New with Manchester Orchestra, Thrice, Glassjaw

Brand New has confirmed the majority of dates and lineups for their forthcoming Fall tour. The run kicks off October 1st and runs till the end of November. The bill will feature Manchester Orchestra on the first third of the dates, Thrice on the second and Glassjaw on the third.

RIERA TARGETING IMPROVEMENT

Albert Riera is determined to build on an impressive debut season at Anfield and help lead Liverpool to glory in 2009-10.
The Spanish winger scored five goals in 40 appearances for the Reds following his transfer from Espanyol last August.

However, Riera is confident he can deliver more when the new campaign gets underway next month.

He told LFC Magazine: "I always think I can be better, but I think for my first season at Anfield I did okay.

"It's never easy for a player moving to a new club. Adapting wasn't as difficult for me because I'd been in England before.

"I can improve and I have to. I know that and I will be trying to do that in the new season."

The 27-year-old's arrival at Anfield coincided with Liverpool enjoying their best

Riera was o.k. last season, he was definitely better down the stretch than ryan babel and lucas (of bench players). He showed great striking capability against (i think) psv where he hit that long shot, but has trouble getting in the flow of a match. if gerrard and torres were both healthy last season we sould have won the cup.

I didn't want it BECAUSE I was late to the party. Since the only point of it is too show off, I don't want to 'show off' that I've listened to 100 songs when I've listening to music on my computer for years. Know what I mean? People will look at it and be like "wtf this guy listens to x band more than y band, and still under 100 times each?" but it'd be the first week I had it, and... yeah. I did have it for a few days, but it kept saying I was listening to things I wasn't because they didn't have band profiles for a bunch of bands I like.

Yeah, there is a sort of "Hey, look what I listen to" aspect to it. I guess it isn't much different than the info that is on your iTunes. I keep hoping that it will direct me to some new bands as I feel my records are getting stagnant.

i've always thought everything you wanted to know about silence, despite its objectionable lyrics, was a great, passionate, and yes, angry album. it's got such teenage temper-tantrum lyrics we wish we could've said to our exes at our most petty, juvenile and simultaneously emotionally vulnerable. it's definitely got its time and place, and it's one of my favorite "breakup" albums of all time.

i dunno. TLDR, still like glassjaw.
