Media: Bouncing Souls: "Boogie Woogie Downtown"

It's (almost) the first of August, and so the Bouncing Souls have released their newest song. The band has made the song available for stream this month, and it will also be available for purchase directly from their webstore.

Facebook -- apparently the new MySpace.

At least the sound quality is better, there are no ads between each song, and it actually works.

yeah and it doesnt make me want to vomit every time i log into it.

although its getting that way since i added a couple of friends who seem to think it is their 'responsibility' to take every possible effing quiz in the world. 'what michael jackson song are you?' 'how long would you survive the zombie apocalypse?' 'what 80s star are you' and 'such and such added a cow to his farm in farmville'

but what the hell else am i going to do when im bored on the john or at the grocery store line?

Yesterday I got Max Levine Ensemble's Ben Weasel 7" and the Mischief Brew/Andrew Jackson Jihad split 8". Both are pretty great.

You have to be kidding.
The Bouncing Souls have been my favorite band for years... The Anchors Aweigh symbol was my first tattoo. And upon hearing these songs, I want them to break up, just so that their legacy isn't tarnished.
These songs are really starting to hurt.

My first thought was that they sounded like a mix between Burning Airlines and Gallows, but I guess you could say they sound like a unreleased John Reis/J Robbins combo if they were in their early 20's now. Do yourself a favour and check out the first song, "Network Beware".
