Chris Rest of Lagwagon and King City (formerly of RKL) is now part of the No Use For A Name roster. He replaces guitarist Dave Nassie, who recently left the band to play for Bleeding Through. No Use For A Name last released The Feel Good Record of the Year in 2008.

My heart started racing when I saw Lagwagon and NUFAN in the same title. Guitarist in my favorite band goes to one of my other favorite bands. Sweet. and for the record, I thought The Feel Good Record of the Year was fanfuckingtastic minus The Trumpet Player.

Pretty natural move..... I always see Chris hanging out in SF, and he's a pretty laid back guy, and never seems too busy, so it's about time he got off his ass!

No Use For A Name should take a cue from Pennywise... that style of punk has had its long, drawn out, contrived day.

Big step down. I suppose he's gotta do something in between Lagwagon's short and increasingly sporadic bursts of activity, though.

I get a bad feeling that Lagwagon is going to be the next one to go; Joey Cape especially seems really bored with them at the moment.

Is that the fucking huge dude or the other one? As neither are that busy is he playing for both bands?

it was awesome seeing them both on the same bill in '97 or so. those were the days. |

Awesome. I hope this doesn't mean even fewer Lagwagon shows.
