Greg Robinson leaves the Toasters

Trombonist Greg Robinson has left the Toasters. The former Mephiskapheles trombonist will not be joining the band for the Ska Is Dead Tour with Voodoo Glow Skulls, Deal's Gone Bad and Mustard Plug. Robinson will instead be performing and producing in New York City. He's performed with the Toasters since late 2005.

Ever since Sledge left, Bucket is the only remaining important member. As long as the trombonist is replaced with another quality tromboner, it's like nothing will have changed.

sad to see him go, as he was an amazing trombonist for both the toasters and mephiskapheles, but i wish him the best of luck. also, the toasters and the ska is dead tour has gotta get it's ass over to canada soon!

I've heard that Logan LaBarbera, who used to play with Royal City Riot, is going to be filling in on trombone for at least a few dates. It'd be cool if he joined up with them full-time, he's an awesome player.
