Tours: Orphan Choir (CD release shows)

Windsor, Ontario's Orphan Choir have booked a few shows to commemorate the release of their self-titled full-length for Art of the Underground. The CD is available now, with an LP release expected in November.

Maybe it's partially due to my upbringing, but when I see a band press photo with one or more of the guys swilling a beer, I just get the impression that they're trashy as fuck.

I dunno, just standing there would be cool. But then, I live right smack between Indiana and Illinois and I grew up hating unshaven guys who like beer and flannel because I identify that sort of person with black/Mexican-hating, rifle-loving, Bible-thumping, knuckle-dragging fucks.

Last night I got stoned and had the blinding flash revelation that if you outlive both your parents, you're an orphan. My dad was orphaned at 50. Deeeeeep maaaaaan.

Then I went to see Angry Samoans and got on stage and told awful Polish jokes. Andrew Riot one the dancing contest, but not the money.

It was awesome. They killed it. It was weird seeing a bunch of 17 year olds spazzing out to Right Side Of My Mind, but better that then the crap most of their peer group listens to.

how in the hell does that beat the angry samoans? this was the first time (and possibly last time) they played baltimore. you can do what you did any night of the week. people are too easily impressed by bacon.

Pop Radio has been bad for a long time but 2 songs just came on that make me fear for the human race.

Also, I wish I could go back in time and kill the dude that invented Autotune. That is one of the worst sounds ever.

but that t-pain/kanye crap has GOT to go.
