Built to Spill have announced a run of dates this October. The band will be supporting their forthcoming album, There Is No Enemy which is due out October 6, 2009. The run of shows will feature support from Australia's Violent Soho. Violent Soho is signed to Thurston Moore's Ecstatic Peace label and will be releasing their debut on the label early next year.

Checked them out last night at first ave in minneapolis. amazing show. the guitar work is so good. even got to chat with bret at Grumpy's afterward while Doug played DJ. what a great night, wish i wouldn't have been so hammared.

There is also a 3rd show at The Middle East on Sunday, October 11, with Boston's Pretty and Nice opening.
