hurst

Michael_Jackson_Jordan (October 2, 2009)

Bronx Mogli's diapers must be running up the tab at the Wentz household. To be a kid that's raising kids again...

MN_DrNick (October 2, 2009)

I think there needs to be a rule where you can only release a greatest hits album after your band has been around for 10 years. These guys haven't reached that point yet.

I guess they'll do anything to make cash though.

LookingForCorpses (October 2, 2009)

Label's own master recordings. The labels usually decide to do these.

waffle_house (October 2, 2009)

have you ever noticed how much tom gabel looks like the little kid from jurassic park?

MilesQToast (October 2, 2009)

I used to really like a few songs. especially 16 candles and grand theft autumn. This cute chick I used to pharmacy tech with like them to. I tried to parlay that into getting her to like other pop-punk and date me but she wasn't having it.

acris (October 2, 2009)

oh girl why

carnivoroustree (October 2, 2009)

get w/the thames oldmun!

joshcore (October 2, 2009)

Usually prattling about "This band isn't good enough for a greatest hits album" aside, I always think that it's a bit presumptuous to include new songs on a greatest hits collection. Do they re-release the album and remove the songs if the new songs are terrible and they don't become hits?

MilesQToast (October 2, 2009)

I dunno you gotta kinda assume it's for established fans who are probably happy to have knew toones.

punk_sk (October 2, 2009)

They're just not greatest hits yet. When the record comes out, then they'll be hits. Just wait and see

MPC (October 4, 2009)

It's a good (albeit shady) way to entice fans who already have all the records to buy this.

punk_sk (October 2, 2009)

fuck this

scorpiondeathlock (October 2, 2009)

i fucking hate everything about these guys. but ill admit. when i was 14 and into pop punk take this to your grave was good times for me.

scorpiondeathlock (October 2, 2009)

after reading this, i hate myself.

jeffernator (October 2, 2009)

I liked their first two albums. They're good records, but I wouldn't call'em pop punk.

jacknife737 (October 2, 2009)

The hooks on that second album in particular are so ridiculously catchy. That's the only one i've been able to enjoy by these guys.

TheChemist (October 2, 2009)

This.

I'm going to go kill myself now for admitting this.

JayTee (October 3, 2009)

Blech. I'm of the apologetic Green Day Dookie, Blink-182 Dude Ranch generation.

It's kind of weird and sad to see FallOutBoy becoming of the ranks of the "Well, back when I was ____ years old, this was my life".

poki516 (October 2, 2009)

How do you have a greatest hits album if you only have 5 albums. And haven't even been a band for 10 years? The new Foo Fighters Greatest Hits album makes sense. They have been together for 15 years, and have what 8 albums now. Each going platinum. I don't understand this at all!

givemeamuseumandillfillit (October 2, 2009)

They have 6.

LookingForCorpses (October 2, 2009)

Don't think they're all platinum. There's only 6 proper full length studio albums, as well.

jacknife737 (October 2, 2009)

To be fair, i think they probably have more 'hits" than most bands who put these out.

Still, there should be a rule that nobody under the age of 35 can release one of these.

Lifebystereo (October 2, 2009)

jesus christ. I like a lot of fall out boy (yeah yeah yeah shut the fuck up) and I still think this is dumb as hell.

RonnieD (October 2, 2009)

I like Black Flag and I like Fall Out Boy. So what? So what?

deadXlast (October 2, 2009)

So... you still like a shitty band?

sixstringking (October 2, 2009)

r u joking me? you cant release a greatest hits album untill your dead. thats the rule. thats just like sayin "hey we suck now and retire"

TheRedDeath (October 2, 2009)

Better than Silverstein releasing an "early years" after 2 full lengths.

Never cared about this band though...singer sounds like he has down syndrome

twstdbydsn (October 5, 2009)

Doesn't Pete Wentz have Downs Syndrome???

imageryandsound (October 2, 2009)

more like greatest Shits

DaveWilliams (October 3, 2009)

zing!

fox82 (October 3, 2009)

Sweet news. We can all expect them now to go on 'an indefinite hiatus' within the next 18 months.

ashleymhale (October 3, 2009)

what an absolute joke

melissamt (October 3, 2009)

You have to be kidding.

eatdogs (October 4, 2009)

man, i really liked TTTYG when i first got it back in 04 or 05. after that i just sort of left the boat before it got bloated by everyone else...

Superdookie (October 5, 2009)

OK. I am from Generation Beavis and had the joy of being raised on the likes of Insomniac, Punk in Drublic, . . . Wolves, and Wiggle. I'd never really heard this band, just the hype, so have just watched all the videos I could stand of theirs on youtube. As I figured, they suck. They are just a more bland rip-off of Jimmy Eat World. In fact, cashiers should just hand the kids who go to buy Fall Out Boy albums copies of "Bleed American". A pareto improvement for all concerned, except of course this knock off band. And any who calls it pop-punk needs to go get themselves impaled.

LookingForCorpses (October 5, 2009)

I'm guessing we're probably about the same age based on what you're saying. I don't think they sound like Jimmy Eat World, at all.

Marizo (October 10, 2009)

Man you're so cool.

Did you go to punk rock high and were you a popular guy?

ROD (October 5, 2009)

i thought they said greatist hits? if that was the case wouldn't the cd be blank or even better white noise?

SurfingTurf (October 5, 2009)

has anyone else here puked four times and tried to sell it?

reduced2teeth (October 5, 2009)

Wouldn't a Fall Out Boy's Greatest Hits CD just be a blank CD?
