...even though this is nowhere near my biggest concern, PBC or CIS??? Both the CIS and PBC in my nostalgic, romantic mind are way different then the bands they are now! When I think CIS i think Troubled Stateside, and when I thnk PBC i think of redder the better and s/t... but as we all know those are sadly not the same bands anymore.

Also Samiam and SHook ones!!! THis sucks! But Samiam hands down takes my allegiance!

It's an LP.

They aren't distinguished by number of songs, they are distinguished by length.
A demo is 5 - 14 minutes.
An EP (Extended Play) is 15 -28 minutes.
An LP (Long Play) is 29 - up...

I agree with most of it, except the demo part. Demos can be long, as long as their just demos and not "official" releases. Most of Leviathan's demos are over an hour long, for example.

It's a blurry line. My Ruiner, Paint It Black, and Blacklisted albums are under 20 minutes (the Ruiner stuff has some extra stuff at the end, but the actual music is under 20) but are called full lengths. I've also got albums by Lagwagon, Energy, Static Radio NJ, etc. that are in the mid-20's and are technically full lengths.

In the end, I think "officially" what it depends largely on is what the band calls it.

last year, i spent maybe an hour before leaving for the airport sorting out what bands i wanna see and at what times/where etc. only really missed The Falcon (because of AWS), and Young Livers (because of a fucking MASSIVE queue), and saw several bands i've since grown to LOVE that i hadn't really heard before (swellers, PBC, fake problems, leatherface [yes, i hadn't heard leatherface before last year.... :S], and others).

all in all, pretty amazing weekend with pretty minimal scheduling on my part!

Yeah, of course all ages should mean 18 and under, your daughter is the centre of the universe, right?
Why did the 13 year old girl
1) Give her phone number to a guy 9 year older
2) Even attract a guy 9 years older?

I'm not saying that the girl is to blame; the parents just need to realize what the fuck is going on with early teens these days and stop blaming everyone else. If I had a teenage daughter she would be my #1 focus in life.
