Rise Against, AFI, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, Pixies on “Rock Band: iPhone”

The onslaught of rhythm games continues, with EA announcing that Rock Band will be coming to the iPhone later this month. The game will feature 30 Seconds To Mars, AFI, All-American Rejects, Beastie Boys, Blink-182, Blondie, Foo Fighters, Foo Fighters, Pixies, Rise Against, Silversun Pickups and The Presidents of the United States of America among others.

Along with the built-in tracks, the game will be selling additional songs from OK Go, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Lenny Kravitz, Social Distortion, Devo, and more,

The only time I've ever thought, "fuck I need an iPhone" is when my buddy John's iPhone saved my life when we were lost in Chicago.

Other than that, I barely make phone calls with a cell phone.

exactly. There were a few times in Chicago this weekend when an iPhone would have been nice. But my keen ability to navigate through any city saved me.

My friends were playing this on X360 last night and I hopped on "Drums" for that Smashing Pumpkins song because it's actually really fun to play drums along with. Well, those electronic drum sets are totally fucked... they use the far left pad for the snare, which should be the hi-hat, so I was totally backwards the entire song and got frustrated as shit.

TL;DR: fuck this game.
