Our stream today comes from Cloak/Dagger. The rock'n'roll-influenced hardcore band includes members of Give Up The Ghost, Renee Heartfelt, Striking Distance and Trial By Fire. We've got a stream of the band's new full length, Lost Art.

Is this like the only band that Jade Tree has under their belt now, since apparently, they don't know how to make their bands happy, and are somewhat shady people.
Kinda sucks.... and they used to be my favorite label.
BTW this band is awesome.

Tim Owen & Darren Walters are both pushing 40 and are probably just exploring other aspects of their lives. I think it is just the bands they sign get too big for the label, you have previous bands like Paint It Black, Strike Anywhere, and the Loved Ones putting their stuff out on large independent labels like Fat Wreck & Bridge 9. Never heard a bad thing about either one of them and Wilmington, DE is not exactly a hotbed for new music.

rock n roll influenced hardcore is so redundant. love that classic guitar tone.

Not really... there was punk in between rock n' roll and hardcore, so if a hardcore skipped over the punk influence and went directly to the rock n' roll, they could get a pretty unique sound.

Sort of like how Bucket Full of Teeth has those wild Led Zep-style guitar riffs every once in a while.

Hey, I was just wondering...

How many people have actually switched to the beta version of Punknews? I still prefer using the older one but the Send this story to a friend feature hasn't been working for ages. So I thought it might be working on the new version but voilá, it's not even a feature there!

Anyway, yeah, my question was a way of letting the webmaster know about this and while I'm at it, I was curious. Has the beta version proved popular or not?

I've been using the beta since it was introduced.

I didn't like it at first, but once you get used to it, it's fine. It makes reading comments, especially from bigger threads a lot easier.
