Legendary musician Ian MacKaye will be returning to Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. MacKaye, who founded Dischord Records and was a member of the Fugazi, Minor Threat and The Evens, will be speaking on November 20th at 7:30PM.

You know when there is music playing just barely out of earshot but you can still hear faint bits and pieces and you think 'oh it's that song... no wait no it's not...wait yes it is...' and you listen for cues to verify or deny that it is that song and sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't and sometimes you just never find out? I'm there.

I hope he digs into some of his Minor Threat thoughts and lectures against drugs. I can't tolerate anything associated with that product scumbag distribution channel.

I saw him speak at Iowa State in January '02. Some kid asked him when the new Fugazi album was coming out. Ian laughed and told him it had already come out months ago. The whole crowd laughed at the kid. It was great.

I was there last time, and I will be there this time! The stuff he talked about was very interesting and awesome. I even got to meet him afterwards, that was amazing. Ian is pretty much my hero! I'm super excited.
