Was going to post "android is stoked", but since he contributed...no wisdom to spread :(

i saw them on the first warped tour, 1995. they said it was their first US show ever, though not sure if they were kidding or not.

i never listened to these guys because every time i heard one of their songs on those old Fat comps I felt like I was listening to Nazi music - conditioned thinking, I guess. There was no basis to that.

Saw them at Warped Tour in Concord in 1995 or 1996. They came out and said (I'll never forget), "Vee are Das Scorpions and vee will now fuck you like a hurricane."

I was like 14 and with folks in a room that was pretty empty with our homemade Ouija board on a low table, a stereo plugged in on the floor next to a mattress, and a still sealed Uncontrollable Fatulence just purchased from Best Buy. Catalina was kind of crazy and it got annoying easily. Victor had already gotten Uncontrollable Fatulence like a week prior, so I already knew a lot of the songs. as Catalina began to irritate, I stood up, walked over to the mattress, grabbed my jacket, pulled out Uncontrollable Fatulence, and began to unwrap it slowly. I then walked over to the stereo, got down on one knee, and put in the CD. I skipped to the Wizo song, raised the volume as high as it could go, looked Catalina dead in the eye with a blank stare from down on one knee and across the room, and waited for the chorus. the chorus finally came; she slowly started to cry |
