Sailor's Grave signs The Business

Sailor's Grave Records has signed British Oi act The Business. Celebrating more than 30 years together, the band's frontman Micky Fitz had this to say:

Having been top mates and strong allies for many years, The Business are proud to announce that they've finally joined forces with Roger Miret & The Disasters, Mad Sin, The US Bombs, The Ducky Boys and many other great bands, and will be at last fighting together at the front in North America with a release on Sailor's Grave Records.

The band will see their yet-to-be-titled debut for the label in stores and online April 20th, 2010.

You should go see em live sometime. I haven't really cared about anything they've recorded in the last 20 years but they still kick ass live and play mostly old stuff. Last time I saw em was in a place that's probably smaller than your living room.

goddamn you and your opinions.

business are a great band. they were pretty nice dudes, at least back in 97 or so when i saw them. they might be old, but i think its awesome they are still kicking and screaming. overdramatic as it may seem today, i love their message of unity and anti-racism. back in the 90s the hardcore, skinhead, punk, and ska scenes in some areas were pretty brutal. they encouraged this to end. in fact, they played with a NYHC band when i saw them, fucking warzone. it was awesome.

Suburban Rebels is one of my favorite albums ever, then nearly 30 years of nothing that has moved me one way or another.

I agree there have been some decent songs and all but that is the only solid album they have.

Suburban Rebels is awesome and the Business is one of my favorite oi bands. I heard their live show was hit or miss but I saw them in dc this past summer and they were great.

this is cool, but a new album release date would be more exciting. they continue to put out great albums, and hopefully there'll be a north american tour (with a toronto date) out of all this.

The fallout boy pop-up makes the Nirvana one seem welcome. .
