Blink-182 to start work on new album in January

Blink 182 will be entering the studio in January. Co-vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus offhandedly referred to the recording session in a Twitter status update saying:

Listening to demos. [I] might produce a few things before Blink-182 goes into the studio in January.

The band had originally revealed intentions to record a new album after their 2010 Tour of Europe, but the band may have pushed up it's timeline.

Since it's not an Angels and Airwaves album it won't be a circular narrative at all and it doesn't sum up the human race not even in a time capsule.

youd probably need to use pi and maybe imaginary numbers and exponents to calculate the potential crappiness here. in fact it may render the star rating system unusable...perhaps blackholes would be more effective. right now im setting it at 2-1/2 blackholes

This could go either way. The last album was alright, nothing special. I hope they return to the Enema/TOYPAJ sound, but I know they won't.
