they're playing AFTER an admirals hockey game. they could play literally across the street at turner hall. whatever.

You get to see a hockey game too though. And it's cheaper for Admirals tickets than for the last Dropkick show I went to and they might play their hockey song.

This makes a little more sense now that I see it's one of the Admirals post game concerts.

I would never go see DM, but if I get to see me some hockey and then stick around for this, I just might!

since when is California in Ireland?

It's like comparing Hepcat to Rancid or something. They don't play the same type of music.

Exhibit A. Bridget Regan is also from Ireland.
Exhibit B. The Pogues (and most of their members) were from London, so I guess we can throw out their musical legacy because they weren't born in Ireland.
Exhibit C. How come DKM and FM always get compared when they are very little alike other than the vague 'celtic' influence. I've always thought DKM was more aptly compared to the Real McKenzies and FM to Great Big Sea.

C- Totally agree. DKM are a punk/rock band with celtic influence where as FM are a more traditional celtic act (granted with a bit of punk influence).
