Relapse signs Black Tusk

Relapse Records has signed Savannah, Georgia's Black Tusk. The band formed in 2005 and saw the release of their debut full-length, Passage Through Purgatory, last year via Hyperrealist. The band most recently released a series of split 7-inches with ASG, The Holy Mountain and Fight Amp.

savannah should also have better venues. the pink palace had some good bands come through but that was a while ago. sweet melissas is okay, but i never hear of anything good playing there.

Black Tusk are good. Learned about them when they opened for baroness a few years ago. The drummer is pretty badass.
