Videos: Weezer featuring Hayley Williams (Paramore): "Say It Ain't So" (live)

This past Wednesday, Weezer performed live for the first time since a bus accident sidelined frontman Rivers Cuomo in December. The show was at Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL and Hayley Williams of Paramore joined the band onstage for the classic "Say It Ain't So," from the band's self-titled 1994 debut.

It's cute that she got all dressed up for it.

Also, I saw Weezer last December before the bus crash and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to.

He plays most of the set, but for a few older songs Rivers plays guitar and Pat plays drums. And Josh plays video games backstage for 15 minutes.

That's actually pretty cool, you can see she was really excited to be up there. It's no "Borne on the FM Waves," but a nice little duet.

i've seen weezer a few times, all pre-green album, and though the music was always stellar their live show always was kind of static. but the music was so good it didn't really matter. plus the opening acts were always great (jimmy eat world, get up kids, tenacious d).

can't really say i'd want to see them now, but this song is always awesome.

So i was at this concert... it was free from a thing off facebook where everyone voted or whatever... it was better than expected, but I still like the house shows with 20 people going crazy a hell of a lot more..

hayley kinda sucked at singing as you can see here... she was way better when i saw Paramore at a festival about a year ago, maybe two..

o well.. free concert, can't complain

Not really a great song to showcase Hayley's vocal range/ability, but you can tell she's really excited to be singing it with them.

My problem with that line is that the carpet is the pubes.

It would need to be "if the carpet matches her hair" or "if her pubes match the drapes"

but neither of those pack the punch.

No Josh Freese anymore? I think his addition really made their live show more exciting because it gave rivers freedom to run around like a maniac.

The concept of Rivers not playing guitar is horrible beyond words. I have no interest in seeing that spaz "run around like a maniac."
