Mixtapes post album for free download

Cincinnati, OH/Detroit, MI outfit Mixtapes have posted their debut, Maps, as a free download. The band notably features Fireworks drummer Tymm Rengers and cites The Promise Ring, Dillinger Four, Superchunk and Rivethead as influences.

I feel like the album is a little all over the place, but I like it. It sort of reminds me of a poppier version of Heartsounds

yeah haha not to be mean, but I would have to say this sounds absolutely nothing like Heartsounds. That would be like saying Lemuria sounds like Heartsounds.... and to be honest there guys sound more like Lemuria!
