Rise Against playing this is really interesting, it's kind of like they're playing a festival for meatheads who like fake metal in an effort to educate them or something.

Middle schoolers just getting into music are so stoked for Rock on the Rage this year.

whoa, flashback 10 years ago to godsmack, nonpoint, mushroomhead, cold?, sevendust, drowing pool, and the almighty limp bizkit. lol @ rise against sticking out like a sore thumb.
24hourpriapism (February 10, 2010)
rise against are going to get booed off the stage by all the conservative small-town construction bros going to rage out to godsmack.
thepopeofchili-town (February 10, 2010)
Helmet & Mastodon should not be on this. Rise Against may "stick out like a sore thumb" musically, but nowadays they share the same fanbase as most of these terrible, terrible bands.

I'm sorry, is this a misprint? This is the lineup for 1998, right?

Recently discharged marines whose favorite line is "let the bodies hit the floor" are stoked.
ebolarama (February 11, 2010)
I always thought it was unfair that the Deftones got lumped in with the late 90s nu-metal garbage, but playing something like this isn't helping their cause....

Good god, what a mess of shit. With a few decent kernels of corn thrown in I guess? |
