Arab on Radar reunite

According to a post from Justin Pearson (The Locust, Swing Kids, Head Wound City, Some Girls) of Three One G Records, experimental noise rock outfit Arab on Radar have reunited. Pearson said:

Well, someone let the cat out of the bag... Arab on Radar is back together!

He also highlighted a number of videos of the band to YouTube including A Gilman Street show and a teaser from their 2008 DVD here.

The band formed in 1997 and split up in 2002 after many releases and even shows opening for Marilyn Manson.

if you're collecting unemployment but you get a one off one day job, if you are paid with a payroll check or whatever, is there a way that will get back to the powers that be?

One more thing: It might not get back to the IRS until tax time next year. Just be careful because even though they've always been audit happy, they have been much worse lately. From what I've heard, it costs like 3K when you get audited. Urgggh.

hmm. well I mean we're talking like $70. I'm not worried about taxes so much I just don't want to have my unemployment mest up. But that's a state thing i think. so I don't know.

This is from NY state (http://www.labor.state.ny.us/ui/claimantinfo/onceyouhaveappliedf aq.shtm#14):

Q: What if I work part-time?

A: If you work less than four days and earn $405 or less in a week, you may receive partial benefits. You are considered employed on any day when you perform any services - even an hour or less - regardless of whether you get paid for that day. Each day or partial day of work will reduce your benefit rate by one-quarter. If you are unable to work, your benefits are determined on the same basis. Receiving partial benefits extends the length of time you may collect benefits until you reach the maximum or your benefit year ends, whichever comes first. If you earn over $405 in any week, regardless of the number of days worked, no benefits can be paid for that week.
Each day or part of a day of work will result in a payment of a partial benefit as follows:

1 day of work = 3/4 of your full rate
2 days of work = 1/2 of your full rate
3 days of work = 1/4 of your full rate
4 days of work = No benefits due

Arab on Radar will be the watered down Arab on Radar, but make more money doing it.
