Deep Elm releases free digital sampler

Deep Elm Records has posted a new, free 18 song sampler culled from their recent roster. Participating acts include She Bears, Les Sages, This Drama, The Lions Rampant, Moonlit Sailor, Public Radio, Papermoons, Moving Mountains, Cari Clara, Goonies Never Say Die, Nathan Xander, Late Night Condition, Down To Earth, Track a Tiger, Ride Your Bike, Desoto Jones and 500 Miles To Memphis.

at first i thought you were being a dick, but then i read the list, and you're right. though for some reason I think I had heard of desoto jones..

I gave up on Deep Elm many fucking years ago, every time was a let down ....however, i'll check this out since its free.

500 miles to memphis are great, but other than them, latterman and small arms dealer, I can't say I'm a fan of the deep elm catalog.

Meh, this is just typical, mediocre mall-emo that isn't too far away from what labels like Fearless and Hopeless have been detonating on the world. I can count exactly 5 worthwhile bands that have been on this label: Red Animal War, Walt Mink, Benton Falls, The Appleseed Cast, and Dead Red Sea.
