Danzig on Fox News' Red Eye

Glenn Danzig's recent visit to Fox News' Red Eye with Greg Gutfield is now available online. The legendary Misfits, Samhain and Danzig vocalist visited the show to talk about his new album, Deth Red Sabaoth, due out June 22, 2010 via The End. Danzig notes that the band's upcoming dates are more of a teaser with a full tour set to launch in the fall. The non-traditional Fox News program previously hosted visits from Fucked Up and GWAR. Stay tuned for a surprising comment about Barack Obama and some questions about the Misifts.

Also, I hate the guy that hosts this show... he's gives a new meaning to the word, CORNY. Not just that, but it's funny how they (FOX)always put the hot chick at the end of the table so the camera gets a good shot at her legs. Yeah, conservative tv.

they should have got him to elaborate on the Obama comment. It'd have been interested to hear what he has to say. I'm fairly certain he would be spinning from a right-wing perspective ("damn this healthcare reform and the encroachment of the state...blah, blah") as opposed to a left-wing one ("damn this pandering to the Zionists in the House of Congress, the corporate bailouts and the inefficient handling of the oil-leak in the Gulf...blah...blah..").

Anyone recall Michael Graves' appearance on the Daily Show a few years back? That was hilarious.

Danzig's an utter moron but he's released some good music over the years. I like how he criticizes Obama (who has had an average presidency so far) but refrained from attacking Bush throughout his entire disastrous 8 years. Simply put- as long as Danzig only opens his mouth to sing we'll be okay. I wonder what Henry Rollins thinks of his old buddy's moronic political views?
