Hidden World IMO, they're not that great when they're playing straightforward hardcore

Hidden World is the place to start, the two singles comps are essential, but neither of them represent the BEST of the band's work.

Pretty sure he's just trying to a decent interview. If I interviewed Hitler I wouldn't spend the whole time ragging on him for the Holocaust. Often if you just let idiots like this speak they'll do a pretty good job of exposing themselves.

Strictly judging book by it's cover, these 'guys' have committed crimes against humanity and should be extinguished.

I fail to see how they're DIY really at all. They're on Suburban Noize records (a label founded by Kotton Mouth kings and funded with major label money), the have booking agents, management and publicists. I'm impressed by someone like Tim Barry, who actually loses his own money to make sure the people on his tour get paid, not a band who does "profit sharing" and drives their own van.

Tim Barry is just ONE GUY, and not a whole group with a stage set up..... what the fuck could tim possibly have unless he has an entire band with him? I thought he was just solo ala Chuck Ragan. How much a crew does one guy need?

You know who else breaks down and sets up their own equipment? NEARLY EVERY BAND YOU AND I HAVE EVER SEEN, and they are way cooler than Brokencyde can ever hope to be.

I used to think the same thing about Insane Clown Posse when they first broke and look where they are today! The music worse than before and they're more popular now than ever. It's entirely possible that this shit inexplicable last well into the future. Yikes!

obviously? Is there supposed to be a tinge of irony to that statement, like, "These guys make even Aerosmith look good". Aerosmith put out some legitimately not-awful tunes back in the day.

As I waited in line 3 hours for that damn Aerosmith roller coaster at Disney I was thought 'Shit, I would enjoy this ride better if it was based on-' and then suddenly nearly every band I have ever heard of flushed into my head. I passed out from the sheer mass of it all, hit my head on a handrail, and woke up in a dark, scary, place - the Aerosmith giftshop at the end of the ride.

I think most people will get it. It's a fun video and I knew it'd get the community talking, so I posted it.

I get the "Most DIY Band" around bit was for hyperbole and all but it just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. That said, I just wish this band would get less press, but I suppose commenting in their story doesn't help.

I always find it WAY more interesting when Ron Bennington invertivews the Westboro Church people because he actually talks to them and gets them to say real things and not just crazy dumb rants, I have seen a million interviews where the interviewer just yells at them and it's incredibly boring and stupid and actually helps the Westboro's people's cause in their own crazy mind.

This is how I feel about this video.

I'm not a huge fan of your band, but you deserve some props for being cool, interested and unbiasd in that interview.

Saying 'if you don't like music, don't listen to it' ignores the fact that sometimes people can make music (or movies, etc.) that foster certain attitudes in people. My main problem with Brokencyde (beyond the terrible music) is the incorporation of violence against women with a sort of attitude that downplays, if not glorifies it.

It takes the worst lyrical (misogynistic) parts of rap and terrible alternative "screamo" music, and then puts them together.

No wonder The United States has so many rapes
