Inside Out (NY) plan first show in a while

New York City will play host to the first live performance from early hardcore act Inside Out in 21 years. The Inside Out reunion performance is set for August 14, 2010 and will include Razorblade Handgrenade, No Tolerance, Vigilant Hotel and Activator. It all takes place at Santos Party House in New York. Ypu can find ticket info here.

UPDATE: This is not, as originally reported, the Inside Out that featured Zack de la Rocha of Rage Against The Machine and Vic DiCara of Shelter and 108. Wrong Inside Out. Sorry about that.

Wrong Inside Out:

I'm just saying that there's a myriad of possibilities as to why the show might be in New York. Its not that weird.

Vic has played in 2 big New York bands and is probably still based somewhere out on the East Coast. Who knows where the other two members are. I'm sure Zack still has some coin saved up from the good old days when it was possible to become a millionaire by playing music and modern travel wouldn't make it too hard for him to relocate.

when i submitted this i said i couldn't find anything else on the show after a quick search, although the nyhc thing shoulda tipped me off. was hoping org would be able to get in touch with someone to confirm. there really wasn't a whole lot to go on, and no other boards were talking about it.

yeah, i feel ya. in defense of the editors, the only other info was that brooklyn vegan link and the blog entry i found later. truth be told i just did a google search for inside out reunion and the bv article is on the first page of results. i guess it's easy to gloss over when the first band listed is VOD. woof.

Haha, Bryne is an editor at Punknews and he stopped going online to talk to me.

Also, I live in between DC and Baltimore, I used to go to hardcore shows exclusively in DC, but recently I've been going to a lot of Baltimore shows. We probably do know a lot of the same people though!

This was announced all over a week or 2 on hardcore boards/sites and it was very clear that it was the NYC band and not Zach's band.
