Interpol has posted another new song from their next album. The self-titled effort is slated for a September 14, 2010 release, following up 2007's Our Love to Admire. The record is due out on indie Matador Records after a a stint with Capitol Records for their first two full-lengths, 2002's Turn on the Bright Lights and 2004's Antics. With all this talk of Jawbreaker about... I couldn't help but join in a conversation now.
Blake Schwarzen. was a medium fish in a small pond. Yes, for a punk rocker, he had some OK lyrics. But then when he took Jets To Brazil in a more pop-oriented direction, his lyrics and composition couldn't hold a candle to other pop artists. So, his pride was hurt and his terribleness as a songwriter was revealed for all to see. Hence a return to punk with TOL and forgetters.
