Classic Brett lyrics....good stuff. You're mad if you were expecting one of the hard songs being the single, this song represents the nice melodic center....great vocals from Greg too.

Like I said before, the music is really good... I probably would have changed the vocal phrasing a little. It's not horrible, but it could be a hell of alot better. 2+ Replies

Great song, been waiting so long to hear stuff from the new album. Classic BR (and yes that's a good thing).

disappointing. where is the bad religion I love... I can listen to to the same type of music on an easy listening radio station. 1+ Reply

This band isn't playing the kind of music I think they should be playing! Fuck you bad religion and all the music I deemed good enough for my consumption.

Not bad at all. I don't really need any new Bad Religion in my life, though. Just come to Colorado in a non-Warped Tour setting and I'll be happy.

I actually like it, definitely a different direction from New Maps of Hell.

I don't understand the complaints all of the last few BR records have ahd slower songs, "Honest Goodbye", "Sorrow", etc. Hell, "Boot Stamping on A Human Face Forever" is probably my favorite bad religion song of the last fifteen years or so. 5+ Replies

I like this song. I like the pattern of the vocal delivery. Its different. ANd of course the background vocals/harmonies are great. Can't wait for the new record. 1+ Reply

this is why i go down to the water and watch baby ducks and frogs n shit. theyre so peaceful and have a much better reality, not constant fighting and bullshit.
Misanthropee (July 28, 2010)
I'd normally complain about how wack this song is, but it's Bad Religion and it's not overloaded with auto-tuned backing chorus vocals. So relatively speaking, it's actually pretty damned good.

I......I THINK IT'S GROWING ON ME!!!! *Alien bursts out of stomach* Ohhhh noooooooooooooo
Problematiclogic (July 28, 2010)
Really like this. They always use a slower/ longer song for the first single, so for anyone whinging, take it for what it is and wait for the album! 1+ Reply

Much like the other two songs they've been playing live, it's decent, but not overly memorable.
mickierat (July 28, 2010)
Whoa, very Elvis Costello-y. Which is not a bad thing in my opinion. This just confirms my theory that pop-punk is coming back with a fucking vengeance.
ReducerSF (July 28, 2010)
The first time I listened the song I didn't like it that much, now it seems to be growing on me. It's not a fantastic song, but it sounds pretty, pretty decent.
smash_it_up (July 28, 2010)
I like it, I had a hard time with New Maps Of Hell simply because of how old Greg sounded. This, however, is much better. And of course they're gonna release one of the slower songs as the first "single", just as they have done with the rest of the last records (broken, sorrow, LA is burning, etc).

Is that a camera-lense effect, or is Graffin looking a little more corpulent these days? | Features

Sounds like Bad Religion. It's become impossible for me to determine whether this is a positive or negative attribute.
