If i remember correctly, i heard this band back in the mid-late 90's and they were fucking awful. Also, I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and all that but ive noticed over the years that you can tell a lot about a band simply by their 'band photo'.

I really thought this band broke up

are there any newer bands that sound like late 70's rock and roll? With saxophone?

Uhhhh...a little late to this party but Koalacaust....greatest band name ever? Or at least in the last week?

I try not to trash talk that much anymore but really? Who fucking cares? I'll admit that some of their stuff was catchy enough for me to enjoy it but damn this is going to be pathetic.

I hated Ocean Avenue when it came out (02? 03?) but I recently checked it out from the library and I like it a lot.

Since this story is a wash it seems, I want to complain about places that only accept cash or a $10 minimum on a card. I want to get lunch, but I work near 2 places (which are the only 2 places within 15-20 min walking distance) that both have that policy. I just want garlic bread, which is like $3. No ATMs to be found either. No lunch for me!

So does this mean Big If isn't happening anymore? I ran into Sean downtown last September & he said he & Ryan Key had been recording & shopping their demos around to labels. I used to go see Reeve Oliver pretty regularly; Sean & drummer Brad both worked where I work. I was bummed when they went on hiatus but I liked the Big If demos. Hopefully they'll still put out a Big If release of some kind. If Yellowcard is starting back up again rather than them moving forward with Big If, then I'd much rather see Sean start Reeve Oliver up again than just be Yellowcard's bassist. Sean's much better when he's up front singing & playing guitar. |

I thought these dudes broke up and got back together as the 1990s lineup with the old singer and ben harper or whatever his name was.
