Sounds sort of interesting, but also sounds like something Daniel Dennett has addressed a lot more definitively. Though I guess tying evolutionary theory to punk rock (however speciously) might get the kids interested. Even a lot of the left-wingers I know seem to have only the vaguest idea of how all that works.

read GG's last "book"- some back and forth email smackoff between GG and some fellow who's a religion professor or something who was clearly a...believer. The other fella gave GG all the credit in the world, but Graffin's contributions were so bad I just took the piece back to the library soon as I finished it, which was like quick, and didn't even buy my own copy. Anyone else have thoughts on that last piece? Can't remember the title- I just remember that the title was as long as the text.

I loved the irony of when Professor Graffin played a solo acoustic show of his solo work plus bad religion songs also in front of a alter in a church,and the fans sat in the pews to watch. I will search my comp for the show or post the links that are on youtube later. I like his writing on how he compared fast food to punk today he wrote years ago.
