Beginning at 7:30 tonight and running till 1am, and then Saturday and Sunday from 4:40pm to 1am, we'll be hosting a live stream of Matador 21, a series of live performances celebrating Matador Records' 21st Birthday. Chavez, Fucked Up, Sonic Youth, Pavement, Girls, Come, Perfume Genius, Cat Power, Superchunk, Spoon, Belle and Sebastian, Shearwater, Ted Leo and The Pharmacists, New Pornographers, Liz Phair 9 and Guided By Voices.

I can't decide which version is better, the one on Leaves In The Gutter or the one on Majesty Shredding. I think the singing might be better on Leaves In The Gutter, but the Majesty Shredding version has a ripping guitar solo. It's a tough one.

anyone else feeling Chavez? I don't know about these guys just not rockin'. The drummer looks like Mike Park from Asian Man. That's the only cool part about this band. I love asians tho.

I like live music too but it's just not my taste I suppose. I don't have anything in my music collection that sounds like this. It all sounds too improvised to me. I like improvisation but I don't like anything about these guys except the drummer is badass.

Tickets were $250 so the majority of people who could afford them are older and don't really know Fucked Up (at least that's the impression I got). People went nuts during the Fucked Up vs Ted Leo show.

I was at the show and it was a lot of fun. Fucked Up was definitely the best band of the first night. IThe Fucked Up vs Ted Leo thing was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to

I went too, Fucked Up was great, Sonic Youth was Sonic Youth and Guitar Wolf got Fucked. The sound was horrible. The after show was great with Fucked Up and Ted Leo thing, But The Wolf Slayed it....at 3:45 in the morning. And HELL NO I didnt pay to see it!!!
