New York Dolls plan “Dancing Backwards in Heels”

New York Dolls will be releasing their latest album next year. The record is titled Dancing Backwards in High Heels and is due out March 15, 2011 . It is their third post-reunion studio album, with previous outings released in 2006 and 2009.

I liked the other two reunion albums, so I'll probably pick this up.

Every time I read the band name it makes me think of Toy Dolls.

I'm a HUGE NYDolls / Johnny Thunders fan but i can't get into any of their reunion albums. I've tried and I'll continue to try, but i don't see it happening.

Agreed. As far as reunion records go, though, they're pretty good. But is any sane person going to reach for 'Cause I Sez So over Too Much Too Soon? Not likely.

That said I'll probably listen to this.

loved the first reunion record, haven't checked out the second. will probably check this one out. they were amazing live when i saw them with the supersuckers a few years ago

As their records have gone, the next being not as good as the one before, this will be their less best...
