Asian Man to release LP from The Huxtables (Slow Gherkin)

Asian Man Records has announced plans to release the debut full-length from Santa Cruz, CA's The Huxtables. The band is the longtime side project of AMR mainstay Slow Gherkin and their debut, We Have Heads is said to be eighteen years in the making.

Losers Night Out was on an old Springman Records comp hella years ago. I loved this band, they were so much fun! They made a full length and a tape and I think something else but I can't remember, super solid and rad, I hope those old recordings get available somewhere because they were awesome and I lost them on some laptop that got stolen ages ago.

I remember my high school girlfriend LOVED this band. She also loved Slow Gherkin. I can't figure out why it didn't work between us.

I never heard of this project but, given that it involves Slow Gherkin, I'm totally in. I can't even check out their Myspace page since I'm at work, but I'm probably just gonna order it anyways...
