Tidal Arms have unveiled plans to release their debut. The trio is the new project from Francis Mark of From Autumn To Ashes/Biology/Warship, Tom Tierney of Warship and Patrick Southern. Having formed in 2009, the band wrapped up their debut, The Sun Exploding at their studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, called Spaceman Sound. The album was mixed by Andrew Schneider (Pelican, Cave-In, Made out of Babies), who had recorded and mixed the band's debut 7-inch, Hair and Teeth / Flooded Meadows.

The band will self-release the album on February 13, 2011. The date is also the first day of the band's upcoming supporting gig with Glassjaw who are headed out on their first North American tour in years.
